Is it possible to run an existing (running) journal on the platform?
Yes, of course. It is possible to transfer the journal archive of the required depth with full texts of articles to PDF.
Is it possible to publish multiple journals from one institution on the Alexandrina platform?
Yes, you can publish as many journals as you want. Each account has its own settings and a list of editors with access to the platform.
Does Alexandrina charge an installation fee for software and services?
There are no installation costs. Some services require prepayment, but there is no separate installation fee.
What models of scientific journals can be run on the Alexandrina platform?
We only launch Open Access journals under the Diamond Open Access model (free to read, free to publish).
Does Alexandrina hold the copyright to the journals or articles published through its platform?
No, all journals published through the Alexandrina platform retain copyright with the publisher themselves and/or decide which copyright policy they will follow (e.g. CC BY 4.0)
